The K500X PVC Damper was developed especially for the waste water treatment works "Odour Control Systems" market, but may be used where there is any type of aggressive atmosphere, for example Coastal Areas or Fume Cupboards.
Constructed of a rigid corrosion resistant PVC double skin casing with the aerofoil section an extruded PVC blade, utilising opposed blade action for optimum air control, a feature of this damper are the encased externally positioned gears (out of the airstream) thereby eliminating the possibility of damage by airborne particles.

Sport & Leisure Applications
The K500 PVC Damper has been especially developed for installations that require a corrosive resistant damper, such as swimming pools. These multi-leaf dampers are generally used throughout the entire air supply and extract system, to control the volume, pressure and air balance requirement.
Constructed of extruded 6mm thick PVC double skin casing with an extruded aerofoil section double skin blade, utilising opposed blade action for optimum air control, with gears made from polypropylene and the use of a 316 grade stainless steel spindle, make this a robust and versatile unit .

Energy Saving
In a time where we are all conscious of the benefits of saving energy, Konvekta introduced this range of low and ultra low leakage dampers over 10 years ago, to considerably reduce the effect of air loss within ventilation systems. Primarily used for volume and pressure control and for isolation
High strength galvanised steel is used to construct the casing and extruded aluminium for the aerofoil section. Opposed blades with EPDM edge seals are thermally filled, producing dampers that meets the stringent DIN 1946 part 4 standard
