Congratulations to Konvekta’s Brian Winterbottom who recently reached his 25-year work anniversary milestone.
Brian started his career with Caswell on Sept 28th 1998 as a Project Engineer.
The New Year in 2004 saw Brian become what we all know him as today, Technical Sales & Project Manager for Konvekta.
Moving to part-time working in 2013 did not change Brian’s steadfast reputation as a mainstay of Konvekta’s air-control damper business.
He is still fully involved in complex design solutions for many prestigious projects and can be rightly proud of a host of loyal, happy customers.

Back in the early 70s – prior to Caswell – Brian was a Design Draughtsman with local engineering company SS Stott Ltd., having previously received Apprentice of the Year Award (machining, fitting & fabrication) in 1973, under the EITB training scheme at Accrington College.
1976 saw Brian gain an ONC & HND in Mechanical Engineering, which lead to roles – DD Group Leader, Air Systems Divisional Engineer, Project Manager and Contracts Manager – with various employers preceding his move to Caswell in the late 90s.
As ‘flower-power’ gave way to ‘glam-rock’, Brian is seen in our Comms Special sporting a natty checked jacket worthy of Slade’s Noddy Holder. The arrow (part of the original photo) seems to scream ‘check out the hair’. No sign of his trademark perma-tan yet though 😊
This is becoming an ever-rarer event in today’s workplace and so we were pleased to be able to put on a small presentation with all our people joining in to recognise Brian’s fantastic commitment and well-earned long service achievement.
And yes, that meant a bespoke cake…and very nice it was too.
